Stellantis plans to raise its 2030 revenue target for its recycling and reconditioning unit, citing a 25% revenue increase this year

Stellantis will soon begin contacting owners of the affected Jeep Wranglers, asking them to bring the SUVs to the nearest dealerships.

Under the agreement, CATL will provide lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries to Stellantis, known for brands like Jeep, Peugeot, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo.

Employees opting for the voluntary departure package are expected to conclude their service by the end of December.

Stellantis’ CFO stated that the strikes would have a modest impact on profitability, costing the company less than 750 million euros.

Negotiations between the UAW and automakers have shown signs of progress as the strike enters its 20th day.

The company revealed its intentions through a regulatory filing, stating that the investment project will run from April to November 2027.

The walkouts will disrupt the production of popular models such as the Ford Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, and Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck.

If agreements are not reached by the late Thursday deadline, these targeted strikes will represent the first-ever simultaneous labor stoppage at all three Detroit automakers.

Stellantis is set to expand its battery manufacturing capabilities to support the growing production of electric vehicles.
