Measuring 4.07 metres in length, 1.75 metres in width and 1.50 metres in height, the MINI Aceman is positioned between the MINI Cooper and the MINI Countryman.
The angular LED headlights lend the Aceman a slightly different look than its stablemates within the MINI model family.
Standard roof rails, visually accentuated wheels (17-19 inch size), and underbody protection at the front, rear and sides highlight its mild off-road capability.
With a chunky steering wheel, a central OLED display and the remodelled hallmark toggle bar, the Aceman’s cockpit, according to the company, echoes the feel of the classic Mini.
The Aceman will be available as the MINI Aceman E (135kW/184HP & 290Nm) and the Aceman SE (160kW/218HP & 330Nm). The former gets a 42.5kWh battery pack, and the latter gets a more potent 54.2kWh battery pack.
The MINI Aceman has four trims: Essential, Favoured, Classic, and the top-spec JCW. Much like in the standard JCW trim, the last one brings a bespoke front and rear design.
The daytime running light (DRL) elements in the LED headlights can be switched to three different modes. The Matrix rear lights also get the same functionality.
The Aceman E can go from a standstill to 100km/h in 7.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 160km/h, while the SE does the same run in 7.1 seconds, with a top speed of 170km/h. The Aceman E’s WLTP range stands between 298km and 310km, while the SE’s is between 382km and 406km.
Standard AC charging is done at 11kW, while fast charging can be done at up to 75kW (Aceman E) or 95kW (Aceman SE). 10% to 80% charge at a fast charger takes under 30 minutes.
