A few weeks after the presentation of the new Mercedes-AMG GLC SUV, the performance and sports car brand has presented the new GLC Coupé
The AMG front apron, designed in a jet wing style, features prominent air inlets, vertical fins, and extra flics that create distinctive and eye-catching accents. Crisp side edges highlight the sporty proportions, complemented by the muscular wheel arches.
The two-part taillights visually widen the rear view with a black, dark red connecting element.
There is also the standard AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather (GLC43) or Nappa leather/MICROCUT microfiber (GLC63 S). It is flattened at the bottom, perforated in the handle area and equipped with silver-coloured aluminum shift paddles.
The MBUX infotainment system boasts a range of AMG-specific displays and functions, encompassing independent screens within the instrument cluster, the vertical-format multimedia central display located in the center console, and the optional head-up display.
It adds the finishing touch to Mercedes-AMG's thriving midsize series, shining as a standout in the model lineup by seamlessly blending dynamic elegance with distinctive AMG traits.
You have the option to select from two formidable model variants: The GLC63 S E PERFORMANCE Coupé represents the brand's pioneering venture into the realm of performance hybrid SUV coupés, boasting an impressive 500 kW (680 HP) system output from the outset. Alternatively, there's the GLC43 4MATIC Coupé, an entry-level model offering 310 kW (421 HP) of power, along with a temporary 10 kW (14 HP) boost courtesy of the belt-driven starter generator (RSG).
In the interior, AMG seats in ARTICO man-made leather / MICROCUT AMG microfiber with unique graphics and covers provide a sporty touch.
The wheel arch trim in the body colour and the AMG side skirt trim are harmoniously integrated into the elegant basic shape.
The engine, known internally as M139l (l for longitudinal installation), is so far the only series engine in the world that is charged with an electric exhaust gas turbocharger via the additional 48-volt on-board electrical system, which also includes the belt-driven starter generator.
