With a total output of 816HP and up to 1,420Nm of torque, the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S E Performance is the most powerful SL of all time.
Thanks to these figures, the roadster offers acceleration figures of zero to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 317km/h.
The 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine and the AMG Electric Drive Unit work together. The high-performance battery offers a capacity of 6.1kWh, 70kW continuous power, and 150kW peak power, with a purely electric driving range of 13km.
Eight AMG Dynamic Select driving programs: Electric, Battery Hold, Comfort, Smoothness, Sport, Sport+, Race, and Individual offer a wide range of driving experiences, from efficient to dynamic.
At the rear, the SL 63 S E Performance gets an integrated plug-in loading flap and the model’s name is highlighted in red. Grooved trapezoidal twin tailpipe trims on the outside are also new. The “E PERFORMANCE” fender badge on the side indicates the exclusive drive.
To tackle all the power, the SL 63 S E Performance comes with roll stabilisation, all-wheel drive, rear-axle steering, and a ceramic high-performance composite brake system as standard.
The driver can select four different levels of recuperation power that can help feed over 100kW of power back into the battery.
As standard, the hybrid roadster rides on 20-inch aero-optimised multi-spoke AMG light-alloy wheels.
The SL 63 S E Performance contains numerous AMG and hybrid-specific displays and functions. Exclusive menu items such as “AMG Performance” underline the sporty character.
