For 2025, the Hyundai Santa Cruz offers redesigned exterior and interior surfaces along with new infotainment and additional advanced driver assistance systems. It will arrive at Hyundai dealerships this summer.
The off-road spec Santa Cruz XRT trim offers exclusive front and rear styling, front tow hooks, wrench-inspired 18-inch alloy wheels, all-terrain tyres, and an increased approach angle, to name a few updates.
The front fascia gets significant revisions like a new grille and redesigned DRLs. Exterior changes are also highlighted by the new wheels.
The standard powertrain is a 2.5-litre four-cylinder unit with 191HP/245Nm and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The same engine is also available with a turbocharger which develops 281HP and 421Nm of torque and is linked to an eight-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).
Both powertrains come with Hyundai’s HTRAC all-wheel drive.
The XRT and Limited trims, with the 2.5-litre turbocharged powertrain, also offer a new towing mode good for about 2.2 tonnes of load-pulling.
Interior updates include a new command centre, a new console with switches and buttons for the HVAC operations, a new steering wheel, new air vents, and a rear seat centre armrest with two cup holders.
Like the 2025 Hyundai Tucson, the panoramic curved display houses an optional 12.3-inch driver information cluster and an available 12.3-inch audio-video navigation (AVN) system. Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto is available with all trims.
