Bentley has revealed the Bentayga S Black Edition as its “most visually striking SUV to date.”
Identified by the first application of gloss black wings to a Bentley in 105 years, the S Black Edition combines vivid accent colours and rich black detailing, along with a reprofiled front radiator grille.
Customers can choose from seven accent colour specifications: Mandarin, Signal Yellow, Klein Blue, Pillar Box Red, Ice, Hyper Green, and Beluga.
On the exterior, the accent takes the form of a laser-like stripe on the styling specification body kit below the front bumper and side sills and across the top of the rear spoiler.
Inside, contrast stitching, contrast piping and accent-coloured sections of the leather trim highlight the S Black Edition. Each seat is embroidered with a black ‘S’ emblem.
The scope for personalisation has also been increased with seven new satin paints, a new additional exterior colour, and a new 21-inch wheel option in three different finishes.
The brake callipers are painted in the same colour as the accents, adding a splash of colour behind the 22-inch black-painted wheels.
A new carbon fibre weave has been used on the fascia and centre console. The weave adds a seemingly 3D visual depth to the fascia.
The standard Bentayga S gets all exterior chrome elements finished in gloss black versions but the S Black Edition is the first model in Bentley’s history to include the Bentley Wings and lettering in matching gloss black. A ‘Black Edition’ badge is located on the rear D pillar.
Powering the Bentayga S Black Edition is Bentley’s 4.0-litre, twin-scroll turbocharged V8 petrol engine that develops 542bhp and 770Nm of torque, with a 0-100km/h time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 290km/h.
