The all-new 2025 Subaru Forester was revealed at the 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show. It will be available in Base, Premium, Sport, Limited and Touring trims.
The Forester is a significant model for Subaru. It has been one of the brand’s bestselling vehicles for nearly 30 years, with more than 2.6 million vehicles sold in the United States alone.
The Subaru Global Platform on the 2025 Forester has been enhanced with 10% stiffer torsional rigidity for improved dynamic performance.
The front seats feature slimmed-down shoulder areas for better visibility and access to the rear seats. The new SUV also has a quieter and more comfortable cabin, including an approximately 39% reduction in noise attenuation from the roof panel.
As standard, the new Forester is powered by a 2.5-litre Subaru Boxer engine that develops 180HP and 241Nm of torque and a Lineartronic CVT gearbox.
Steering-responsive LED headlights with Automatic High Beam are standard across all trims.
The front of the vehicle features a bold grille that merges into the compact LED headlights and creates an integrated shield effect. The all-new fascia also debuts the updated Subaru star cluster emblem.
The 2025 Forester comes standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Subaru's EyeSight Driver Assist technology.
There is a tablet-style 11.6-inch Subaru Starlink Multimedia system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The SUV offers 60:40-split folding rear seatbacks. With both seatbacks down, the cargo area offers nearly 2,100 litres of usable space. The wide-opening tailgate with low liftover height allows easy loading and unloading.
