Lamborghini has revealed the first-ever plug-in-hybrid Urus, featuring a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 and a design refresh. The new plug-in-hybrid model is called the Lamborghini Urus SE and it sits alongside the Urus S and Performante.
The new Urus SE features a tweaked front fascia. The changes on the outside include redesigned LED headlights with a slimmer LED DRL design, redesigned bonnet, and radiator grille.
The redesigned boot hatch, a new rear diffuser and spoiler contribute to 35% addition in rear downforce. The addition of underbody air vents and revamped air ducts further enhance efficiency and cooling.
A larger screen – now 12.3 inches – installed in the centre of the dashboard features a new version of the Human Machine Interface (HMI) that is even more intuitive to use than before.
The new infotainment system and control display run a revamped user interface with more striking graphics.
In the EV mode, the new Urus SE can cover up to 60km with speeds of up to 130kmph. The electric motor draws power from a 25.9kWh battery pack that's placed between the load cover and rear differential.
The addition of the electric motor with the 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 has taken the combined power and torque output to 800PS and 950 Nm, respectively.
