Apollo Tyres Ltd. has expanded Vredestein’s tyre range for premium and luxury SUVs. Vredestein Pinza HT (highway terrain) has been introduced in 16- and 18-inch sizes, while the existing Ultrac Vorti i’s range has been expanded for luxury SUVs by introducing it in 21- and 22-inch sizes. The latter will be Vredestein’s first tyre variant to be produced in India in these sizes. It is targeted for fitment in vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz GLS, Lamborghini Urus, Porshe Macan, Mercedes-Benz G Wagon, and the Land Rover Range Rover Sport. The Pinza HT is available for fitment in vehicles like the Toyota Fortuner, Tata Safari, and Mahindra Scorpio N.
Commenting on Vredestein’s range expansion in India, Rajesh Dahiya, VP of Sales and Service at Apollo Tyres Ltd, said, “With the ‘YOLO’ generation driving the growth in the premium and luxury SUV segment in India, this is the right time for us to expand the Vredestein range catering to these segments. The Vredestein Pinza HT has been developed keeping the comfort and safety of the driver in mind, with maximum wear life and durability, and with a uniquely designed visual identity. Large and independent staggered tread blocks are designed to deliver better cornering stability with improved noise. Generous pass-through notches, dense sipes, and large circumferential grooves help evacuate water, eliminate hydroplaning, and improve grip on slippery or wet road conditions. A special tread compound is applied for all-season performance.
The Vredestein Ultrac Vorti i is developed for high-performance cars, to provide high levels of steering precision and grip for a thrilling drive experience at high speeds with utmost safety. These tyres also carry the signature of renowned automobile designer, Giorgetto Giugiaro, making them one of the most aesthetic ultra-high performance tyres being manufactured in India.
Vredestein Pinza HT has been ranked among the top three premium HT tyres in the USA, one of the biggest SUV markets in the world, and has also won the Good Design award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
