The Volkswagen Taigun Trail Edition boasts multiple exterior and interior add-ons, extending its appeal to adventure junkies. On the outside, the Taigun Trail Edition offers updates in the form of side body graphics, black roof rails, side mirrors and door handles; black 16-inch alloy wheels and Trail badges at the tailgate.
On the interior, the Taigun Trail Edition features a few noteworthy changes, making it stand out over the Taigun GT. Key interior changes include Trail Edition-themed seat covers, sporty metallic pedals and puddle lamps. Another functional update in the Taigun Trail Edition comes in the form of a digital dash camera.

Like the Volkswagen Taigun GT, the Taigun Trail Edition also comes with a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine. The engine pumps out 150PS of power between 5000rpm and 6000rpm and 250Nm of torque between 1600rpm and 3500rpm. It comes coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission, which transmits power to the front wheels only. Higher variants of the Taigun also offer the option of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission option.
The Volkswagen Taigun Trail Edition is exclusively available via online bookings. It doesn’t carry any additional premium over the Taigun GT, retailing at INR 16.3 lakh ex-showroom. Volkswagen offers the Taigun Trail Edition under the GT Edge Collection with 3 exterior colour options — Candy White, Reflex Silver, and Carbon Steel Greyon. The deliveries of the Taigun Trail Edition will commence during the festive season.
