In an event held in Berlin on July 5, the Volkswagen Group paid tribute to its top suppliers by conferring the Volkswagen Group Award 2023. Acknowledging exceptional performance, this year’s ceremony marked the 25th anniversary and celebrated eleven companies across five categories.
The ceremony brought together over 190 guests hailing from 200 countries, with representatives from 160 selected suppliers participating in the prestigious event. The award categories encompassed Innovation, Sustainability, Launch of the Year, Local Performance Champion, and Global Performance Champion.
Leading figures from the Volkswagen Group, including Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Board of Management, Thomas Schmall, Member of the Board for Development, Michael Steiner, and Dirk Grobe-Loheide, Board Member for Procurement, presented the esteemed awards.
