While investing heavily in electric vehicles, Audi is slowly doing away with its ICE-powered sports cars. Both the R8 and TT are nearing the end of their production and the TT has received a final send-off with a special edition. Sadly, the TT Roadster Final Edition is exclusive to the US market and is limited to just 50 units!
The highlight of the limited-run TT Roadster Final Edition is its exclusive Goodwood Green pearl paint, which pays homage to the first-gen TT. The first-gen TT offered the same green exterior paint as an option. Other exterior highlights of the TT Roadster Final Edition include Platinum Gray matte exterior bumper trim, side trim elements and a grey convertible soft-top roof. The TT Roadster Final Edition comes with 10-spoke forged wheels wrapped with 255/30 R20 92Y tyres.
On the inside, the TT Roadster Final Edition comes finished in Palomino Brown leather, which nods to the first generation’s iconic baseball stitch leather. Since it comes with the extended leather pack as standard, interior touchpoints like door armrests and centre console also come draped in the same leather finish. In addition, Audi-exclusive Palomino Brown stitching can be seen on the steering wheel and gear selector while the floor mats also get corner piping. Its sports seats are equipped with neck-level heating and built-in seatbelt microphones for better voice recognition.
On the performance front, the Audi TT Roadster Final Edition has got you covered with a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine. The engine pumps out 228PS of power and 350Nm of torque and comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and Quattro all-wheel-drive. As a result, the TT Roadster can do a 0-100kmph sprint in 5.5 seconds.
In addition, the TT Roadster Final Edition comes with Audi’s magnetic ride suspension system, which adapts the damping forces depending on the driving situation for increased driving dynamics, as well as provides a 10mm reduction in ride height compared to the standard suspension.
Audi bids farewell to the TT, leaving the legacy of close to 25 years to cherish, with the TT Roadster Final Edition. The Final Edition is available in the US with an MSRP of USD 67,800 and an additional USD 1,095 destination charge.
