Updated Triumph Tiger 900 GT, Rally Pro Launched In India

Triumph India has launched the updated Tiger 900 range in the Indian market. Triumph offers the Tiger 900 in two variants — GT at INR 13.95 lakh and Rally Pro at INR 15.95 lakh ex-showroom. Globally, Triumph also offers a GT Pro variant, which bridges the gap between the GT and Rally Pro variants.

The updated 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 GT and Rally Pro motorcycles have been launched in the Indian market. The updated models offer better performance, more rugged styling, more offroad capability and considerably better fuel efficiency. Among the design and mechanical updates, Triumph has brought considerable updates to the three-cylinder engine.

The Triumph Tiger 900 continues to come with an 888cc three-cylinder engine, albeit with revised internals. As a result, the engine offers 13% more power and better low-end torque delivery — all while consuming 9% less fuel. The new engine now offers 108PS of peak power and 90Nm of torque. Triumph has also improved the brakes on the Tiger 900, thus improving the braking feel and reducing braking distance.

On the features front, the updated Triumph Tiger 900 offers an updated 7.0-inch TFT instrument cluster with new graphics and Bluetooth connectivity. The new models also offer a new rider seat, which is flatter and roomier and offers a heating function with the Pro models. The new seat height ranges between 820mm to 880mm depending on the variant, which can be adjustable by 20mm. Shorter riders can go with the low rider seat, further reducing the overall seat height by 20mm.

The updated Triumph Tiger 900 retains the popular series features. These features include IMU with cornering ABS and traction control, six riding modes, a signature LED DRL design, heated grips, illuminated switches, a tyre pressure monitoring system and Brembo Stylema Monobloc brakes. The GT and GT Pro models use 45mm Marzocchi upside-down forks (USD) while the Rally Pro model offers Showa 45mm USDs with 240mm of suspension travel which is an increase of 60mm over the lower variants.

The deliveries for the updated Triumph Tiger 900 range are said to begin in February 2024. Both the Tiger 900 GT and Rally Pro models offer 10,000km/12-month service interval, whichever comes earlier.
