Swiss watchmaker TUDOR has made a dramatic re-entry into the world of motorsport, announcing a partnership with the newly formed Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team. This collaboration marks TUDOR’s return to the pinnacle of automotive racing after a hiatus, building upon its rich legacy in motorsport that dates back to the late 1960s.
The partnership sees TUDOR joining forces with a team that’s undergone a significant transformation. Formerly known as Scuderia AlphaTauri, and before that as Scuderia Toro Rosso, the team has been rebranded and reinvigorated with a new identity and ambitious goals. The Visa Cash App RB team will feature experienced race winner Daniel Ricciardo and promising young talent Yuki Tsunoda behind the wheel, embodying a blend of proven skill and fresh potential.
TUDOR’s CEO, Eric Pirson, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Tudor has always been fueled by a daring spirit, a consistent will to do things differently. In celebration of this new partnership, TUDOR has created a team-exclusive version of its Black Bay Ceramic watch. This special edition features a blue dial that matches the team’s livery, offering fans and enthusiasts a tangible connection to the racing team. The watch, which boasts Master Chronometer certification, will be worn by drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo around the paddock, further cementing the link between TUDOR’s precision timepieces and the high-performance world of Formula One.
