The new Toyota Camry XSE race car follows the Camry TRD race car, which garnered 18 victories and 25 poles during the last two seasons of the renowned racing competition. Toyota, with its design partner CALTY, ensured to replicate the design of the 2025 Toyota Camry XSE.
The design highlights of the Camry XSE race car include a distinctive hammerhead styling up front, which is complemented by an upper grille and slimmer LED headlights. The C-shaped LED headlights are in line with the recently launched 2025 Camry sedan.
Speaking further about its design, the lower radiator grille is larger than before and features C-shaped corner vents. The bonnet is also more muscular than before, thanks to the inclusion of character lines and duct exits. Around the rear, the Camry XSE race car features revised quarter panels, chamfered bumper corners and thinner LED tail lights.
We are excited to bring this car to the race track and continue to achieve success with it for years to come,” said Paul Doleshal, group manager of motorsports, TMNA (Toyota Motor North America). It is worth mentioning that Toyota continues to be the only manufacturer in NASCAR to showcase three nameplates across the three national series.
Toyota competes in all three national series featuring the Camry in the NCS, the GR Supra in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) and the Tundra TRD Pro in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS). Toyota joined the NCS and NXS racing series in 2007 and since its debut, the Japanese brand has earned 180 NCS wins and three NCS championships along with 201 NXS victories and four NXS titles. In addition, Toyota also claimed 228 wins in the NCTS series since its debut in 2004.
Legacy Motor Club will also join the NASCAR Series Cup for the 2024 season. This move will result in eight Camry XSE race cars competing on track every weekend starting with the Clash at the Coliseum exhibition race in Los Angeles, California, in February.
