US-based Unplugged Performance, a dedicated Tesla tuning house, has come out with a range of aftermarket accessories and tuning upgrades for the new Cybertruck. The range, dubbed the Up Invincible, is tailor-made for the latest Tesla offering and offers an array of on- and off-road upgrades. The company unveiled the Up Invincible range during an exclusive event on 30th November (right after the Tesla delivery event) at its headquarters in Hawthorne, California.
The product line-up includes heavy-duty steel bumpers, side rock sliders, front bull bars, carbon fibre body panels (bonnet and fender flares), high-output LED light bars, rear bed storage solutions and MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) panels, high-performance brake kit (including rotors, pads), a suite of suspension products including lift kits, new forged wheel designs including a purpose-built beadlock wheel, underbody armour, wheel spacers, knobby tyres, and more.
“While we are renowned for our high-performance racing suspension and brake upgrades, Up Invincible is about infusing that DNA into that of the Cybertruck to take it to new heights and enhance the experience at every level,” said Ben Schaffer, Co-Founder of Unplugged Performance.
Starting this month, limited quantities of select products from the Up Invincible range will be made available. The full product range is expected to reach customers sometime in early 2024.
Unplugged Performance: A background
Unplugged Performance was founded in 2013, and incubated by the team behind the renowned automotive customiser Bulletproof Automotive. The company calls itself “the world’s leading company focused on the customisation and sports performance of Tesla Motors vehicles.” Unplugged follows an in-house operations approach, doing all things from the research and engineering of the parts on its development vehicles to the designing, prototyping, and manufacturing. Before the Cybertruck range, Unplugged also offered upgrades for the Tesla Model S, Model X, Model 3, and Model Y. The company also makes complete custom Tesla vehicles for sale.
In May 2021, Unplugged Performance was recognised by Tesla as its authorised vehicle service and body repair partner, which enabled the firm to offer all after-sales services and repairs except any warranty work.
