Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, a subsidiary of Tata Motors, has introduced the all-new Nexon.ev, India’s top-selling electric vehicle, starting at a competitive price of INR 14.74 Lakhs. This milestone marks a significant leap in the Indian automotive industry, offering a futuristic and tech-driven driving experience with innovative features.

Digital Design and Persona Choices

The Nexon.ev boasts a distinctive digital design language, emphasizing innovation and technology. It is available in three personas – Empowered, Fearless, and Creative – designed to cater to the diverse lifestyles and preferences of its audience.

The vehicle sets new industry standards with advanced technology, including a massive 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, the largest in its segment. It also offers an impressive audio experience with Harman’s AudioworX and 9 high-quality JBL speakers. The Nexon.ev introduces an app store, Arcade.ev, providing access to various video, productivity, navigation, and gaming apps. It includes four voice assistants and Tata’s ZConnect Connected Car Technology, offering over 60 features, including remote control car functions.

Efficiency is a key focus, with the Nexon.ev featuring a longer range of 465 km (MIDC Certified), an increase of 12 km. It offers multi-mode regen and multi-drive modes for a customizable driving experience, along with paddle shifters for on-the-go multi-mode regeneration.

Safety features include 6 airbags as standard, ESP with i-VBAC, SOS Call for emergency assistance, electronic parking brake with Auto Hold, and a 360-degree surround view camera system with a blind spot view monitor.

The Nexon.ev introduces innovative features like V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle charge) and V2L (Vehicle to Load), allowing it to charge another compatible EV and act as a power bank for external gadgets and appliances. It also offers Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, enhancing the ownership experience.
