Tata Motors has launched three new commercial vehicles with higher payload capacity over longer distances and better operating economics. The two pickup trucks – Intra V70 and Intra V20 Gold – and a mini truck – Ace HT+ – are touted to be designed for various applications for both urban and rural landscapes. The vehicles benefit from a wide array of value-added services such as Fleet Edge telematics systems, annual maintenance contracts and easy availability of spare parts for highest uptime. Additionally, the Sampoorna Seva 2.0 programme promises a hassle-free vehicle ownership experience.
Tata Intra V70 pickup
The new-gen pickup truck is touted to get the highest payload capacity thanks to the longest load body of 9.7 feet. It benefits from high ground clearance and a 1.5-litre diesel engine as well as Fleet Edge telematics system. Its cabin is designed to offer the comfort like that of a car to provide a fatigue-free experience for drivers.
Tata Intra V20 Gold bi-fuel pickup
The company is claiming it to be India’s first and only bi-fuel pickup which comes with a range of over 800 kilometres and a payload capability of 1200kg. The pickup benefits from three large CNG tanks for lowering ownership cost and increasing uptime. It also gets the Fleet Edge telematics system for efficient fleet management.
Tata Ace HT+ mini truck
The vehicle benefits from a turbocharged diesel engine, providing it with higher power and efficiency. It boats a longer load body and increased payload capacity of 900kg. The company says that the commercial vehicle benefits from the operating economics of the Tata Ace coupled with power and performance similar to pickups.
