Talbros Automotive Secures Rs 400 Crore Multi-Year Orders Across Product Lines

Talbros Automotive Components has clinched significant multi-year orders valued at approximately Rs 400 crore, marking successful business acquisitions across divisions, segments, and joint ventures. The forthcoming orders, spanning a 5- to 7-year period, encompass gaskets, heat shields, forgings, and chassis components, targeting both domestic and global clienteles.

Pioneering EV Components: A significant order, valued at Rs 165 crore, is secured from a prominent export Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for a crucial body-in-white component tailored for electric vehicles (EVs). Executed through the Marelli Talbros Chassis Systems joint venture, this order, slated for commencement in FY2025, constitutes 41% of the new business. Reflecting the EV trend, these orders accentuate the shifting landscape towards electric mobility, encompassing both Indian and international markets.

Gasket Excellence: In line with the diversified wins, a substantial Rs 120 crore business for gasket products is secured, accommodating the requirements of both domestic and export OEMs. Notably, an order worth around Rs 40 crore is designated for EV parts from a prominent overseas OEM, emphasizing the global electrification wave.

Heat Shields and Forgings: Domestic vehicle manufacturers contribute to Talbros’ growth, as confirmed new business revolves around heat shield products, estimated at Rs 65 crore. Expanding horizons, the company attains export business worth Rs 50 crore over 5 years for forging products, including elements like ring gears, gear planets, spacers, brake pistons, cover king pins, and planetary gears.
