Stellantis, the global automotive giant formed by the merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Groupe PSA, has unveiled significant changes to its leadership team. The reshuffling of roles aims to strengthen the company’s focus on sales, marketing, customer experience, and corporate affairs, aligning with its long-term strategic vision.
In a move to bolster its sales and marketing efforts, Luca Napolitano has been appointed as the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, in addition to his current responsibility as the CEO of the Lancia brand. Napolitano replaces Thierry Koskas, who will now dedicate his expertise to the expansion of the Citroën brand. Napolitano brings a wealth of experience in sales, fleet management, retail operations, dealer network development, and automotive industry expertise across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Olivier Bourges has been named the Chief Customer Experience Officer, taking over the role from Richard Schwarzwald, who has decided to leave Stellantis for personal reasons. Bourges’ appointment underscores the company’s commitment to its “Dare Forward 2030” strategy, which aims to position Stellantis as the leader in customer satisfaction. With his deep knowledge of the industry and Stellantis operations, Bourges will spearhead the company’s efforts to enhance the overall customer experience.
As part of the leadership changes, Clara Ingen-Housz, who joined Stellantis earlier this year, will assume the position of head of the Global Corporate Office and Public Affairs. Ingen-Housz will also become a member of the Top Executive Team, bringing her extensive international experience and expertise from her previous roles, including serving as Saint-Gobain’s Group Legal Counsel and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer. Her diverse background, spanning legal experiences in Hong Kong, New York, and Brussels, will further strengthen the diversity of the Top Executive Team.
Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares expressed his gratitude to Richard Schwarzwald for his contributions and wished him well in his future endeavours. Tavares also expressed confidence in Thierry Koskas’ ability to drive the growth of the Citroën brand, Olivier Bourges’ determination to elevate customer satisfaction, and warmly welcomed Clara Ingen-Housz to the Top Executive Team.
“I have every confidence in Thierry’s ability to drive the growth of the Citroën brand, Olivier’s determination to bring Stellantis to the next level of customer satisfaction, and warmly welcome Clara to the Top Executive Team as we continue to execute our Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, together with our passionate stakeholders around the world,” Tavares stated.
The leadership changes at Stellantis underscore the company’s commitment to its strategic objectives and its determination to enhance its sales and marketing capabilities, prioritise customer experience, and strengthen its corporate affairs and public relations efforts. As the automotive industry continues to evolve, Stellantis aims to position itself as a leader in innovation, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth through these strategic appointments.
