Stake replaces Alfa Romeo as title partner for Sauber F1 team

Stake, one of the world’s leading betting, entertainment and lifestyle brands, has collaborated with the Sauber F1 team as a title sponsor for the upcoming 2024 and 2025 seasons. The collaboration brings a new name, logo and identity for the Sauber F1 racing team, which was earlier associated with Alfa Romeo.

The collaboration between Sauber and Alfa Romeo was also reflected in the team’s racing livery, which was arguably one of the best-looking liveries on the grid, owing to its unique shade of white and red. Since the team is undergoing a massive rebranding, we can also expect to see an all-new racing lively, which could follow the black and white colour scheme seen on the released brand logo.

Stake was founded back in 2017 and since its launch globally, it has collaborated with Canadian rapper Drake, Everton Football Club, the UFC; and many more. The collaboration between Stake and the Sauber F1 team could translate into further popularity of the sport across platforms, thanks to the popular associations.

From 2026 onwards, the Sauber F1 team will join hands with Audi to become the German manque’s in-house factory racing team. Audi has already registered itself as the engine supplier in the sport, which could also deliver its engines to other teams in the future. It remains to be seen how the collaboration between Stake and Sauber spans out once Audi takes over the Sauber F1 team.

For the 2024 season, the Sauber F1 team will continue with its racing driver pair — 10-time race winner Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu. The Formula 1 team will announce its collaboration with Stake with an event on February 5 in London, where we could also catch a glimpse of the team’s 2024 race car.
