The open innovation ecosystem – Software République – has unveiled the ‘U1st Vision’ (You First Vision) concept. The technology demonstrator features its vision of services which are “closer to the citizen”. It offers them an easy access to a range of various customised and secured proximity services.
The U1st demonstrator comprises two integral components: The first is called a ‘pop-up’, which is a flexible and compact and fully contained module and the second one is an electric light commercial vehicle identified as FlexEVan. This solution leverages technologies at the forefront of technological advancement designed by the seven members in the Software République consortium and its allies.
The Pop-up module is placed on the FlexEVan and helps in delivery of vital services to citizens such as health services, civil self-service assistance, bicycle repair and sale, reprocessing of used electrical equipment, among others. Thus, local authorities can acquire these modular units to offer clients and societies easily accessible services relevant to their context.
Today at VivaTech, the Software République has demonstrated the new healthcare service module, known as the ‘health pop-up’. This module is one of the key components of the U1st vision and includes 21 different medical features, of which 12 are new inventions. One of them is an avatar that is driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Health Pop-Up can be regarded as a mobile service that delivers medical assistance to people without the need for them to visit a clinic or an office. Specifically, telemedicine supports preventive interventions and comprises diagnostic and tracking functions. It is about shifting the paradigm of how healthcare is offered to promote its effective delivery with consideration for technological advancement and global connectivity. It also helps to enforce the privacy of patients’ records to avoid being accessed by unauthorised people. The module is operated by a medical assistant and allows people to have virtual appointments with healthcare professionals.
This idea is driven by a common aim: to deliver the healthcare services to the doorstep of people. A patient can receive healthcare services at any time he or she desires; at any location of his or her choice and this may be achieved while still getting the best quality of care and privacy.
