EUR 25,000 Skoda EV
The new Skoda Epiq concept is said to hit the global markets in 2025 and cost around EUR 25,000. While the Epiq measures under 4.1 metres in length, it is said to carry a good amount of space for its passengers along with the signature Skoda design presence, inspired by the larger Skoda electric models like the Enyaq. The smallest Epiq EV is a part of the upcoming 6 electric vehicles, which will hit the market in the coming years.
The new Skoda EV will offer a spacious boot space of 490 litres alongside a spacious cabin. While Skoda is yet to provide details about its powertrain, the Epiq crossover is said to offer a claimed range of up to 400 kilometres in its production form.
New Skoda design language
The new Skoda Epiq will boast Skoda’s new design language, which will likely trickle down to other future Skoda models. The design concept previews a striking design with eye-pleasing elements spread across. One of the key design elements of the new Skoda Epiq is its unique Tech-Deck face, which incorporates the grille and LED elements. The LED headlights boast T-shaped LED elements, the edges of which seamlessly gel with the grille. The front bumper features a prominent cladding with what looks like a faux skid plate.
Around the side, the Epiq features a clear distinction between its glasshouse and doors whereas prominent body cladding and aero-optimised wheels boost its side presence. At the back, the Skoda Epiq features a sloping roofline with an integrated spoiler and LED tail lights.
Minimalist and functional interior
The new Skoda Epiq features a minimalist take on its interior while keeping the functionality in check. The key highlights of the Epiq’s interior include a two-spoke steering wheel with physical buttons and control rollers, a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system with physical buttons, an open storage centre tray with a wireless phone charger and a digital instrument cluster. In addition, the new Epiq is also said to support bi-directional charging, which enables it to power small appliances from its battery.
