SEMA 2023: Ford Performance previews customisation packs for Mustang, Bronco, and Ranger

Ford Performance is showcasing custom parts and appearance packs at this year’s SEMA Show that will be available to customers starting in 2024. Shown for models like the Mustang, Bronco, and Ranger, these turn-key customisation solutions, according to Mark Wilson (Manager – Ford North America Vehicle Personalisation), have been developed in response to customer feedback, indicating that the aforementioned models are some of the most popular choices among Ford owners for customisation. The packs cover four categories: Off-road capability, street performance, aesthetic parts, and unique vehicle graphics.

Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) Packs for the Ford Ranger & Bronco

The Ranger Ford Performance Off-Road concept pack aims at the overlanding space. Available for the four-wheel-drive equipped 2024 Ranger XLT and Lariat models, the pack adds a kit from ARB that includes an overland suspension kit and new front & rear bumpers with additional recovery points. An onboard air compressor, Solis lights, and a 44.5-litre refrigerator/freezer will be available as optional extras.

The ORV concept pack for the Bronco is available on any Bronco Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, or Outer Banks trims equipped with the 2.3-litre EcoBoost powertrain (both MT and AT). The pack adds Bilstein suspension with a 2.0-inch lift, 17-inch white wheels shod in 35-inch tyres, and a bespoke state of tune for the engine. The optional extras include a high-clearance Borla cat-back exhaust, an ARB jack and mount, and an under-hood air compressor.

Street Pack for the Mustang

The new FP800S concept pack for the Ford Mustang joins the F-150 FP700 Pack from Ford Performance. As the name suggests, this pack aims at increasing the vehicle’s straight-line performance. The FP800S pack can be added to any 2024 Mustang GT coupe and it adds the new, sixth-generation 3.0-litre Whipple Supercharger kit. The kit elevates the power output to nearly 800HP. To deal with the additional horsepower, the pack also includes a half-shaft upgrade kit and a suspension lowering kit. Optional extras include a Borla Extreme cat-back exhaust with quad 5.0-inch tips and carbon-fibre aero elements.

Ford Accessory Personalisation for Bronco and Bronco Sport

The Accessory Personalisation concept pack for the Bronco adds Bilstein suspension with a 2.0-inch lift, retro graphics, an open-air Bimini-top roof, tube doors and painted wheel arches and grille from the Outer Banks trim of the Bronco.

Alongside the ORV, Street and Accessory packages, Ford will also offer custom vinyl wraps in up to 60 colours and three different finishes (gloss, satin, and matte) through Ford Vinyl Wraps. These will be available starting in 2024. These will be available for new model-year F-150, Mustang, Bronco, and Explorer vehicles.

Exact pricing for each pack will be announced closer to its on-sale date, and they will be available via the Ford Performance Parts website or through a dealer accessory counter.
