China’s largest carmaker, SAIC Motor, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with German car manufacturer Audi to jointly develop intelligent and electric vehicles. The collaboration aims to expedite Audi’s creation of new electric vehicle offerings to cater to the growing appetite for premium connected electric vehicles in the Chinese market.
Under the MoU, both companies will capitalize on their respective strengths and expertise to fast-track the development of Audi’s electric vehicles. SAIC Motor, known for its technological prowess, will actively contribute to the joint effort by co-developing new products with Audi.
