The Rolls Royce Ghost Prism comes finished in an exclusive gunmetal exterior paint, further complimented by black brightwork and four bold accent colours. The unique paint with contrast strips builds a contrast between a solid form and bright, spectral hues that also inspired Ghost Prism’s name. It is interesting to note that the gunmetal paint finish is produced through a 10-step process, which includes 4 layers of paint and hand polishing for over 16 hours.
Attention to detail
The Rolls Royce Ghost Prism stainless steel finish for its grille and rear-lid brightwork is finished in a smoked black-grey hue. To attain this level of finish, each element went through four coats of paint applied by hand. Since it is still a Rolls Royce, the Ghost Prism offers a choice of 4 accent colour options — Phoenix Red, Turchese, Mandarin and Forge Yellow. The chosen accent colour is applied to the bumper inlays, coachline, brake callipers, steering wheel and headrests.
Bespoke starlight headliner
Another detail worth highlighting of the Rolls Royce Ghost Prism is its bespoke starlight headliner. In the Ghost Prism, the starlight headliner incorporates 1,040 coloured stars, which are meticulously placed individually on the leather headliner through perforated holes. The Ghost Prism also celebrates the 120th anniversary of Rolls Royce Motor Cars with its 120-unit limited-production globally.
