The deal, announced on 26 June 2023, comprises a 24% equity stake in Alpine Racing Ltd, strategically supporting Alpine’s growth trajectory and its ambitions in Formula 1. As part of the agreement, Alec Scheiner, co-founder, and partner of Otro Capital, has assumed a position on the board of Alpine Racing Ltd.

The EUR 200 million investments, resulting in a 24% equity stake, values Alpine Racing Ltd at approximately USD 900 million post-transaction. This financial injection is earmarked to fortify Alpine’s global presence in Formula 1 across various domains, including media, sponsorship, ticketing, hospitality, commercial rights management, licensing, and merchandising.
