Porsche debuts one-off Panamera Turbo Sonderwunsch in Shanghai

German luxury car manufacturer Porsche has unveiled a special one-off Panamera Turbo in Shanghai, created under its Sonderwunsch programme. The highly exclusive sports car is based on the new Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid and has been detailed by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur to create a personal dream sports car for the owner. It features specially created colour tones and individual accents as per the choice of the customer.

Exclusive details on the one-off Panamera

A specially created colour tone – Leblon Violet Metallic – has been applied on the model. It resembles the colour shades on a chestnut. This special colour fades into a solid black in the lower third of the car, creating a two-tone look. The door sills and front and rear spoiler lips are finished in solid black too. Tinted headlights, tail lights and windows continue the two-tone theme, and the tailpipes are in Bronzite.

The clear coat on the exterior contains flakes vaporised with real gold, creating a premium look. The exterior also features pinstripes in another newly developed colour – Avium Metallic – with an integrated Sonderwunsch logo. The 21-inch centre-locking rims and the frames of the side windows are also finished in this new colour. The logos on the rear have been meticulously done.

What is Sonderwunsch programme?

In German, ‘Sonderwunsch’ means ‘special requests’. This is how this division of the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and Porsche Classic departments got its name. It takes personalization to the next level for the customers, giving them the luxury of individuality. The programme includes consultation, planning and expert execution of custom colour and material wishes and even the building of customised one-offs.

Porsche will be presenting the the Sonderwunsch programme during the world premiere of the new Panamera in Shanghai. The company aims to reinterpret the legendary programme from the late 1970s, to enable it to design individualised, one-off cars – co-created by the customer and professionally produced by the company.

The programme will provide services such as factory commissioning for individual customer colour and material requests directly in production, as well as subsequent factory re-commissioning, and factory one-off after vehicle delivery to the customer.
