Revealed alongside the budget-friendly Ola S1 X and the Gen 2 Ola S1 Pro on August 15, 2023, these electric motorcycle concepts embody a futuristic aesthetic. Although intricate specifications remain undisclosed, each design represents the core essence of its respective category, as stated by Ola’s Head of Design, Ramkripa Ananthan.
The Ola Diamondhead, the fourth concept, boasts a distinctive and radical appearance reminiscent of concept motorcycles. Its angular contours evoke thoughts of the Tesla Cybertruck. Sporting an expansive dome-like windscreen, an LED strip headlamp spanning the motorcycle’s width, and sizable clip-on handlebars, the bike showcases innovative design elements. A concealed digital display emerges from a retractable plastic cover when the bike is activated.
A striking feature is the oversized swingarm at the front, hinting at a hub-centred steering system, a rare setup in production motorcycles.
