Ahead of its IPO launch, Ola has aggressively cut down prices of its most affordable scooter whereas its arch-rivals have recently received a price hike. Owing to the revised EMP scheme that has resulted in price hikes of scooters like Ather 450x and Vida, Ola has cut the prices of its S1 X scooter by up to INR 10,000.

Alongside, Ola has also slightly revised the prices of its other line of scooters. The Ola S1 Pro, S1 Air and S1 X+ prices now start from INR 1,30,000, INR 1,05,000 and INR 85,000, respectively. All Ola scooters come with a standard warranty of 8 years/80,000km for the battery at no additional cost.
Customers with higher running can choose to upgrade the kilometre warranty to up to 1,25,000 km with a nominal starting price of INR 5,000. Along with the revised prices, Ola has also announced a new portable 3kW fast charger that is priced at INR 30,000.
With a low starting price of INR 70,000, the new Ola S1 X has become one of the most affordable mass-market electric scooters in the country. It boasts of a considerably lower starting price, compared to its arch rivals from Ather and Vida.
