Revised exterior design
The new Acura TLX sedan features a revised front fascia with a frameless version of Acura’s signature Diamond Pentagon Grille. Acura also offers the choice of 2 new colour options — Urban Gray Pearl and Carbon Metallic. The rest of the design remains similar to that of the outgoing model.
Better tech, now standard
The refreshed Acura TLX also offers better tech than the outgoing model, most of which now comes as standard across the variants. The new TLX now features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is 20% larger than the previous system and runs a faster processor. Other nifty additions include Type-C charging ports, a wireless phone charger, new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Simplified variants
The 2024 Acura TLX now comes with simplified variant options — Technology pack at USD 45,000, A-Spec at USD 50,000 and Type S at USD 57,000. The Technology pack offers features including 19-inch wheels, Milano Leather seating, ELS STUDIO Premium Audio, and ambient lighting. The A-Spec variant further adds features such as dual round exhaust finishers, grey 19-inch alloy wheels and all-wheel-drive among other features.
The Type S further offers improved throttle response, a 10.5-inch head-up display, 20-inch wheels and a surround-view camera. To create a distinctive and sporty appeal, the TLX also packs a front splitter, rear spoiler and diffuser, quad exhaust tips and 4-piston Brembo brake callipers.
Turbo V6 powertrain
The Acura TLX comes with a choice of two powertrain options — a 2.0L turbo petrol engine and a 3.0L turbo petrol V6. The 3.0L turbocharged V6 petrol engine produces 355PS of power and 481Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a sport-tuned 10-speed torque converter automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive. For the 2024 model, the 2024 Acura TLX Type S also offers a quicker throttle response in the Sport+ drive mode.
