In November 2023, MV Agusta had unveiled the LXP Orioli, its first production adventure motorcycle. And in typical MV Agusta fashion, the LXP Orioli was a limited-run preview to the actual motorcycle that would have the mass market run. Now, that moment has arrived, with the unveiling of the Enduro Veloce – it loses the ‘limited-edition’ tag and, with it, a few bespoke bells & whistles that made the LXP Orioli…well…a limited-edition.
In terms of value, the Enduro Veloce costs roughly $6,200 less than its counterpart, and that’s due to an obvious reason – it misses out on the ‘LXP Orioli’ kit box that includes a Termignoni titanium exhaust, a carbon exhaust end cap and heat shield, a dedicated motorcycle cover, and a certificate of authenticity. Apart from this, the Enduro Veloce also misses out on a few serious off-road bits as part of the standard fitment, such as a racing sump guard and chassis crash bar. It even gets tarmac-centric Bridgestone Battlax A41 tyres as standard, instead of the AX41 off-road tyres. However, most of these bits are available as optional accessories.
Thanks to this standard equipment shuffle, the Enduro Veloce, as much as its name may suggest, does not look like an adventure motorcycle. Instead, it looks a lot like a sports tourer. It just can’t match up to the LXP Orioli’s off-road appeal, visually, at least. Thankfully, apart from these differences, both motorcycles remain identical in terms of their chassis, engine, equipment, and rest of the bodywork.
Both are powered by a 931cc three-cylinder motor that develops 124HP @ 10,000rpm and 102Nm of torque @ 7,000rpm. 85% of the torque is available from 3,000rpm. They are built around a double cradle steel frame with a rear steel trellis subframe and a twin-sided cast aluminium swingarm.
MV Agusta is yet to reveal information about the Enduro Veloce’s availability to customers. However, the bikes are expected to reach dealerships by this summer.
