Maserati MC20 Notte special edition revealed

To develop the first-ever special edition of the MC20, Maserati collaborated with Andrea Bertolini, Maserati reference driver and former GT1 world champion. The outcome of the collaboration is the unique exterior gloss black colour, which turns into a magnetic matte finish in the dark.

Highlighting the motorsport glory of the supercar maker, Bertolini turned the Trident, side logos and Maserati branding from silver to matte white gold. Another exterior highlight of the MC20 Notte special edition is the set of 20-inch black alloy wheels with golden surrounds.

Moving the focus to the inside, the MC20 Notte special edition features a new set of 6-way powered sports seats draped with Alcantara leather and yellow stitching. The headrests come with the Trident logo while the steering wheel gets carbon fibre inserts. To amp up the exclusivity factor, the MC20 Notte special edition also comes with a metal plate placed between the front headrests, mentioning the model number out of 50 cars produced.

Leaving the visual highlights aside, the MC20 continues with its same powertrain. Sitting at the heart of the MC20 Notte special edition is the 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 Nettuno engine. The engine delivers 630PS of power and 730Nm of torque to the rear wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The MC20 manages to sprint from a standstill to 100kmph in 2.88 seconds and hit a top speed of 326kmph.

Celebrating the launch of the MC20 Notte special edition, folks at Maserati also produced a promotional film, featuring the global brand ambassador David Beckham and former GT1 world champion Andrea Bertolini. The short film highlights the unique paint scheme of the Notte edition brazing through the dark on city roads and race tracks. Following a secret preview to the Maserati Tridente members, the MC20 Notte edition is now available to order worldwide. The future customers of the MC20 Notte special edition will be invited to a specially-curated Maserati track experience.

It is the first Fuoriserie limited edition of MC20 and it is dedicated to super sportscar collectors and track enthusiasts”
