Maruti Suzuki has announced the expansion of its popular Fronx Velocity Edition to encompass all 14 variants of the SUV. This move broadens the range of Fronx options available with cosmetic and feature upgrades, catering to a wider audience.

Previously available only with the turbocharged powertrain, the Velocity Edition is now offered with both the 1.2L petrol and CNG options and the 1.0L turbo petrol engine. This caters to a wider range of buyer preferences, balancing performance with fuel efficiency and budget considerations. Customers can also choose between manual and automatic transmissions across the variants.
The expansion strategy comes after the initial success of the Fronx Velocity Edition launched with the turbocharged engine. The new offering aims to capitalise on that momentum by giving buyers more choices within the Fronx lineup.

Reaching 100,000 units sold in just ten months signifies strong customer reception. By offering the Velocity Edition across all variants, Maruti Suzuki aims to not only celebrate this achievement but also provide more options to discerning buyers.

The Fronx caters to diverse driving preferences with two engine options. Performance enthusiasts can choose the 1.0L K-Series Boosterjet petrol engine with mild hybrid technology, offering exhilarating performance with a choice of manual or automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
For those prioritising fuel efficiency, the 1.2L K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with idle start-stop technology is available with either a manual or an automated manual transmission. Additionally, the Fronx S-CNG variant offers an eco-friendly option with a best-in-class fuel efficiency of 28.51 km/kg.
