Mahindra XUV700 AX5 Select 7-seater variant launched

Starting at INR 16.89 Lakh (ex-showroom), the AX5 Select boasts features that were only available in the top-spec trims of the SUV. These include a panoramic sunroof, a dual 26.03cm HD Superscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 6-speaker sound system, push-button start/stop function, and a spacious 7-seater configuration. This combination makes the AX5 Select an enticing option for buyers seeking more features at an attractive price tag.

This launch aligns with Mahindra’s commitment to innovation and catering to evolving customer needs. The company has recently introduced a 7-seater option in the MX variant and a limited edition “Blaze” version of the AX7L. The Blaze edition boasts a bold aesthetic with its Blaze Red colour, dual-tone black exterior elements, and all-black interior with red accents.

Moreover, in order to meet customer satisfaction, Mahindra has significantly ramped up production capacity to minimise waiting periods. Depending on the chosen variant, delivery timelines now typically fall within four to eight weeks whereas the earlier waiting period stretched up to a year for some variants. 

The XUV700 has garnered a positive response in international markets like South Africa, Australia, Nepal, and New Zealand since its 2022 launch, solidifying its position as a global SUV contender. The introduction of the AX5 Select variant further strengthens the XUV700’s appeal by making luxury features more accessible to a wider range of customers.
