Gravity SUV commands a sporty presence supported by a sleek profile, elongated cabin, pronounced shoulders, and sporty tail spoiler. It has been designed to maximize spaciousness, aerodynamic efficiency, and utility, thus helping meet diverse needs of drivers and occupants. “Whether it’s a cargo-swallowing SUV for family camping trips or a long-range grand tourer covering hundreds of miles between stops, Gravity is designed to be versatile,” says Peter Rawlinson, CEO and CTO at Lucid.

Gravity goes big on spaciousness and comfort, revealing more than 112 cubic feet of total usable cargo space upon folding the second and third-row seats. The carmaker claims to have added decent amount of legroom for passengers in both rows in the back while the second row passengers benefit from sliding seats and convenience tables.

The ‘Clearview Cockpit’ in the front row features a 34-inch curved OLED display that sits above the steering wheel, matching the driver’s line of sight. The ‘Pilot Panel’ houses quick access touch bar and is placed alongside a new glass center console. The next-generation software with over-the-air updates takes the in-car experience to a different level.

Performance highlights

Lucid Gravity has been built on a brand new platform developed from the ground up with integrated next-generation, ultra-compact powertrain technology, including the company’s most power-dense EV motors. The SUV makes use of the evolved 900V electrical architecture, making it a powerhouse on wheels. It can achieve an acceleration of 0-60 mph in less than 3.5 seconds. It has a payload capacity of over 1,500 pounds and towing capacity of an additional 6,000 pounds.

Lucid has introduced the Zero Gravity package on the SUV, which is an enhanced optional air suspension package. It has been introduced with the intention to help drivers take the vehicle off the tarmac, ensuring a smooth ride. Additional manual adjustments can help maximize the off-roading capability of the model or lower it to maximize performance and range.
