Lord’s Automative’s Exclusive Collaboration With GarageWorks

Lord’s Automative Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Lord’s Mark Industries and a renowned leader in India’s electric two-wheeler and three-wheeler market, is pleased to announce an exclusive collaboration with GarageWorks, a prominent provider of doorstep after-sales services for two-wheelers and three-wheelers. This partnership aims to offer comprehensive doorstep support to customers for all-electric vehicle (EV) service needs.

The strategic union between Lord’s Automative and GarageWorks represents a significant opportunity to transform the landscape of after-sales services in the electric two-wheeler and three-wheeler industries across India. With a shared commitment to innovation and environmental sustainability, Lord’s Automative specializes in producing top-quality electric vehicles, while GarageWorks excels in providing doorstep support to EV owners throughout their ownership journey.

GarageWorks has redefined two-wheeler and three-wheeler management since its establishment in 2017, offering consumers unparalleled convenience and assurance. Their extensive experience includes over 200,000 successfully delivered services, demonstrating their dedication to excellence and innovation. GarageWorks’ expertise extends beyond innovative service offerings, encompassing a skilled workforce proficient in diagnosing and addressing challenges for both internal combustion engines (ICE) and EVs. This unique proficiency positions GarageWorks as a valuable servicing partner for OEMs nationwide.

Dr. Veer Singh, CEO of Lord’s Automative Pvt. Ltd., expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to collaborate with GarageWorks to revolutionize India’s electric vehicle service market. Our shared vision revolves around sustainability, innovation, and our unwavering belief in the potential of electric mobility to transform the automotive sector. By combining our commitment to producing top-quality electric vehicles with GarageWorks’ after-sales expertise, we aim to contribute to a greener and more sustainable future for India’s electric vehicle industry.”

According to a recent report by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), monthly sales of electric two-wheelers in key urban centers have reached approximately 50,000 units, highlighting the growing demand driven by rising fuel costs and environmental consciousness. The need for after-sales services for electric two-wheelers is expected to surge. Currently, a significant portion of two-wheeler after-sales servicing in India is managed by the unorganized sector, with only 20% of two-wheelers serviced at OEM workshops after the warranty period in FY’22.

GarageWorks, with its forward-looking approach, is poised to address this challenge. The company had already initiated training programs for its mechanics to specialize in electric bikes in 2022. Ravishankar Krishnamurthy, Co-founder and Head EV of GarageWorks, emphasized, “Our strategic partnership with Lord’s Automotive Pvt. Ltd. marks a significant milestone in the Two-Wheeler and Three-Wheeler EV industry. As EVs gain popularity, the seamless integration of top-tier vehicles with doorstep services redefines the ownership experience. This collaboration empowers EV manufacturers to focus on production and sales, while we leverage our expert services, delivered by trained electric vehicle mechanics.”

Apart from safety and range, after-sales support is one of the top concerns for users transitioning to EVs. This partnership aims to address customer concerns through a hassle-free doorstep experience.

Currently operational in ten major cities in India, including Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Surat, Ahmedabad, Indore, Jaipur, and Lucknow, GarageWorks plans to expand its presence to all major cities across India in the coming months, making their exceptional services accessible to a wider audience.

This collaboration between Lord’s Automative and GarageWorks signifies a significant step towards a more sustainable future in India’s electric vehicle industry. By leveraging their expertise, these industry leaders aim to make electric vehicle ownership not only environmentally conscious but also a seamless and satisfying experience.
