Lectrix EV, a well-established company in India’s market for electric two-wheelers (2WEV), has recently entered into a strategic alliance with FYC TECH PVT LTD, doing business as Jumppers, an innovative last-mile delivery service using electric fleets.

In this major partnership, Lectrix EV will deliver 500 electric vehicles to Jumppers to improve the fleet and enable it to better serve the growing demand for green delivery services.

Moreover, beyond merely supplying vehicles, Lectrix EV is offering its latest battery-swapping infrastructure that will greatly enhance Jumppers’ logistics. This system is poised to completely change how Jumppers operates by ensuring seamless battery swaps for their electric cars hence minimising maintenance intervals and range anxiety as well as maximising riders’ earnings.

President, EV Business of Lectrix EV Pritesh Talwar said, “Our goal is to electrify transportation in India. Logistics is one of the fastest growing sectors in India and the work that Jumppers is doing aligns with our sustainability goals as well. We are happy to join hands with them and support their efforts to expand their green fleet. This collaboration marks a significant step towards our shared vision of a sustainable future.”

The swapping network of Lectrix EV offers many advantages to Jumppers such as shorter transaction time, availability of power 24/7 and absence of “range anxiety” with swap stations found every 5-10 km. This implies that riders are capable of earning more without stopping for charging, which results in an additional Rs.200-300 daily earnings for them.

Lectrix EV’s ecological impact is in line with Jumppers’ sustainability aims. To this effect, it has saved up to 66,63,132 kgs of CO2 emissions or an average of 491kgs per user translating to 22,21,04,383 kilometres covered as stated by the company record books where it has been used by around 13 thousand five hundred seventy-one people.

Ajay Kumar Khandelwal, co-Founder at Jumppers said, “We are thrilled to announce that in 2024, Jumppers has expanded its fleet to include more than 500 vehicles in partnership with Lectrix. This significant growth underscores our commitment to sustainable and efficient last-mile delivery solutions, leveraging advanced electric vehicle technology to serve our clients even better.”

A variety of electric vehicles are used by Jumppers to serve clients with one being responsible for deliveries for industry giants like Blue-Dart, DHL, DTDC, Flipkart and Smart-R. In this way, such a partnership will enable the company to offer sustainable and effective delivery solutions to foster rapid sustainable growth among incumbent stakeholders.

This collaboration between Lectrix EV and Jumppers not only signifies a milestone in India’s transition towards greener mobility but also sets a precedent for innovative partnerships driving sustainability in the logistics sector.

The e-mobility arm of SAR Group called Lectrix EV was launched last year. The company’s focus is on making reliable and cutting-edge electric two-wheelers available to consumers driven by passion. With an initial investment of Rs 300 crore and backed by a production facility with an annual capacity of 1.5 lakh EVs, Lectrix EV has plans to expand into a wide range of electric two-wheeler offerings. With technology and innovation as its main concern, the firm seeks to disrupt the electric scooter space through technologically sophisticated products that can be bought at cheaper rates than the competitors’.
