Sokudo Electric India, an electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has expanded its product line by introducing a new range of full-face helmets designed for both male and female riders. These helmets, available in black, are ISI-certified and adhere to safety standards. The company has priced the helmets at INR 949 for male riders and INR 1,017 for female riders, offering distinct designs for each.
This launch marks Sokudo Electric’s entry into the rider safety equipment segment, demonstrating their commitment to enhancing rider safety. The company has ambitious goals for this new product line, aiming to capture 2-3 per cent of India’s USD 2 billion helmet market within the first year of launch. Sokudo Electric expects the helmet line to contribute approximately 1 per cent to its total revenue for the Financial Year 2025.
The helmets are constructed using non-breakable virgin plastic, which enhances their strength and durability. Sokudo Electric claims that these helmets exceed the IS 4151 standard, providing superior shock absorption and retention strength. Weighing less than 1 kg, the helmets are designed for comfort during long-distance travel while maintaining optimal protection against accidents.
As a Made in India product, the helmets come with a comprehensive 1-year guarantee. They are available for purchase through Sokudo Electric’s official website and flagship stores. The company is also offering a special discount on the helmets for customers who purchase their electric scooters.
