GLIDA, a prominent player in India’s public EV charging solutions sector (formerly known as Fortum Charge & Drive India), has achieved a significant milestone by introducing 200KW high-power public chargers, marking a transformative leap in electric mobility infrastructure. Partnering with Kempower, renowned for its cutting-edge DC fast charger technology, GLIDA has set up a 200 KW superfast Kempower charger with six satellite charging points at DLF Cyber Park, Gurugram. This collaboration strengthens GLIDA’s relationship with DLF, expanding its operational footprint to 20 Charging Points in DLF’s Cyber City alone.
This milestone underscores GLIDA’s commitment to its brand ethos #AllLightsGreen for e-mobility, aimed at establishing a robust and accessible charging network nationwide. Awadhesh K. Jha, Executive Director of GLIDA, emphasised their pioneering role in pushing the boundaries of innovation and technology within India’s electric mobility sector.
He highlighted that the installation of the new 200KW Kempower charger is just the beginning of their efforts to redefine India’s approach to electric mobility, promising further advancements in superfast charging infrastructure.

The introduction of Kempower chargers promises a dynamic charging experience, enabling faster EV charges and top-ups for a seamless driving experience. These super-fast chargers are poised to accelerate the adoption of electric commercial mobility solutions such as buses and trucks by significantly reducing charging times.
