Hyundai has showcased the 2025 Tucson with updated looks and redesigned interior ahead of its debut in Europe in 2024. The mid-cycle update of the fourth-generation Tucson is its first partial redesign in three years. The model entered the European market about two decades ago and has been evolving ever since, integrating new technologies and contemporary design language.
Exterior highlights
The grille and the headlights have been updated but they look familiar with the signature Parametric Dynamics design language. The bumper and skid plates extending from side to side create a visually wider stance. The car’s dynamism is further accentuated by the redesigned alloy wheels. Over at the rear, the skid plates are integrated into the bumper moulding, giving the impression of a wider wheelbase.
Interior highlights
The dashboard of the updated Tucson has been completely reconfigured with the grouping of the two 12.3-inch screens within the same housing. There is a minimalist three-spoke steering wheel, enhancing practicality and functionality. Further below, a new switchgear and relocated air vents change the interior look completely. A new center console houses a wireless smartphone charger and two cup holders while the shifter has been moved to the steering column with a number of physical controls.
What to expect?
Hyundai has kept the European specifications of the model under the wraps. The carmaker could offer a new interior with three shades – green, black, and gray. However, the engine highlights and other details are expected to be revealed eventually.
