The Group’s investment of USD 12.6 billion in dedicated electric vehicle and battery manufacturing facilities in Georgia comprises the USD 7.59 billion Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) site in Bryan County, Georgia, and a USD 5 billion battery manufacturing facility joint venture with SK On in Bartow County, Georgia. These facilities are expected to create over 8,500 direct jobs and employ approximately 3,500 people, respectively.
