Hyundai Creta facelift design revealed ahead of January 16 launch

Hyundai India is gearing up to launch the facelift of its flagship compact SUV – Creta – on January 16. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed the design highlights of the model which comes with notable changes on the exterior and interior. Bookings for the SUV were opened last week for a token amount of INR 25,000. Prospective buyers can choose to either book the new SUV online or at any authorised dealership.

Front design highlights:

The new Creta gets an off-road inspired design language, boasting a rugged and bold stance, aligned with its ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ philosophy. The model gets a new parametric black chrome grille and an upright hood design for a commanding road presence. The Quad beam LED headlamps and LED Horizon positioning lamps further compliment the look. The front features an ensemble of distinct lines which is carried on the side as well. The side profile is further accentuated with an all new alloy wheel design.

Speaking about the bold design of the Creta, the company’s COO Tarun Garg, said, “The new Hyundai CRETA promises to fulfil the dreams of those seeking a contemporary and adventurous SUV, boasting a robust stance and an authoritative presence on the roads.”

Rear design highlights:

Over at the rear, the Creta gets new connected LED taillight bar, sporty new spoiler design with an integrated LED stop lamp, a redesigned tailgate and a bumper with a skid plate, giving it a futuristic look. The horizon tail lamps enhance the vehicle’s visibility from the rear at night.

Interior highlights:

On the inside, the new Hyundai Creta offers upmarket additions such as a horizontal dashboard – integrating the infotainment and the digital cluster screens, premium leatherette seats with modern graphics, leatherette door armrest covering, leatherette D-Cut steering wheel, leatherette wrapped gear shifter and rear headrest cushions. Additionally, the SUV offers ambient lighting and rear seat two step recline function, among others. Apart from loads of technology features, the interior offers ample space and comfort.
