The two electric vehicle concepts under the Honda 0 series include two body styles — Saloon and Space-Hub. While the market launch timeline of the Space-Hub has not been announced yet, Honda will launch the production version of the saloon concept in the North American market in 2026. The saloon model will also extend to other markets including Japan, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and South America.Â
Speaking about the saloon concept, it sits on a dedicated EV platform and also follows Honda’s man maximum, machine minimum philosophy. It carries a sleek stance thanks to a low and wide exterior shell while also incorporating a spacious interior, that is draped in sustainable materials.
On the tech front, the saloon concept features a human-machine interface-compliant instrument cluster, steer-by-wire system and motion control management system. The concept also boasts a sporty driving position and promises to offer an unparalleled driving experience.
Furthermore, both saloon and Space-Hub concepts boast autonomous driving tech, which was first featured on the Honda Legend back in 2021. It will feature advanced AI, sensing, recognition, and driver monitoring technologies to achieve more human-like, natural and high-precision risk predictions, making it possible to offer AD features people can feel safe and confident using.
On the powertrain front, the Honda 0 series will carry a suite of advanced powertrain and battery cells. All models will feature e-axles allowing a good balance of power and efficiency. In addition, Honda is also said to offer a high-density battery pack, which will have less than 10% battery degradation after 10 years of use. In terms of charging, with the help of a fast charger, the battery could be juiced up from 15% to 80% in about 10-15 minutes.
Along with the announcement of Honda 0 series electric vehicles, the Japanese carmaker also revealed its new brand identity for the new-age electric vehicles. The new H logo will be branded on the 0 series vehicles beginning in 2026.
