Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched its adventure tourer, the ‘XL750 Transalp,’ at an introductory price of INR 10,99,990 (ex-showroom, Gurugram). This latest offering is poised to cater to adventure enthusiasts in India, with bookings open for the first 100 customers.
International Adventure Brought to India
The Honda XL750 Transalp arrives in India through the completely built-up (CBU) route from Japan and will be exclusively available through the premium BigWing Top Line dealerships.

A Legend Reborn
The XL750 Transalp is the rebirth of the legendary adventure touring machine, offering a harmonious blend of style, performance, and functionality. With its dignified styling and rugged design, it serves as an all-rounder designed to satisfy adventure enthusiasts worldwide.
With a compact headlight, integrated windscreen, and large tank shrouds, the XL750 Transalp embodies fearless expression and aerodynamic performance. It boasts an aluminum rear carrier and LED lighting system, adhering to the adventure style.
Advanced Technology and Connectivity
Honda’s XL750 Transalp features a 5.0-inch TFT panel that provides comprehensive information, including a speedometer, tachometer, gear-position indicator, fuel gauge, and riding modes, among other data. The display is customizable based on rider preferences and can be controlled via the screen or the switchgear on the left handlebar.
The motorcycle is equipped with the Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCs), allowing riders to manage calls, messages, music, and navigation through voice commands while on the move. Additionally, it features an emergency stop signal function and automatic turn signal cancellation.
Performance and Power
At the heart of the XL750 Transalp lies a 755cc liquid-cooled, 270º crank in-line two-cylinder engine. This compact yet powerful motor produces 90.45 PS of power and 75 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Patented Vortex flow ducts and Ni-SiC cylinder coatings enhance engine efficiency, delivering sharp throttle response and pick-up.
Riding Modes for Versatility
The XL750 Transalp incorporates Throttle-By-Wire (TBW) technology, allowing riders to select from five riding modes. These modes enable customization of Engine Power, Engine Braking, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), ABS, and assist slipper clutch settings. The available modes are Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and User, providing adaptability to various riding conditions.
Suspension, Brakes, and Wheels
The motorcycle’s lightweight steel diamond frame ensures a balance between stability and maneuverability. Equipped with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel with spokes, it delivers versatility for on-road and off-road adventures.
For comfortable and confident performance, the XL750 Transalp features Showa 43mm SFF-CAâ„¢ upside-down (USD) front forks and a rear shock operating through Pro-Link. Braking is handled by dual 310mm wave discs with hydraulic 2-piston calipers at the front and a 256 mm single disc with a 1-pot caliper at the rear, complemented by dual-channel ABS.
Colour Options, Price, and Availability
The XL750 Transalp is available in two color schemes, Ross White and Matte Ballistic Black, reflecting its adventurous character. With an introductory price of INR 10,99,990 (ex-showroom, Gurugram), the XL750 Transalp aims to provide adventure enthusiasts with a competitive offering. Bookings are currently open for the first 100 customers at Honda’s exclusive BigWing Topline dealerships in various cities across India. Deliveries are set to commence from November 2023.
