Hero Electric’s CEO, Sohinder Gill, explained that while the core Hero Electric brand remains committed to basic e-mobility, the company aims to introduce specialized brands for specific market segments. This strategy is aimed at enhancing differentiation and market focus.

Gill emphasized that although the electric two-wheeler market may encounter challenges in the short term, the industry’s shift towards sustainability and cleaner transportation promises significant growth potential in the medium to long term.

Highlighting India’s potential as a global EV hub, Gill stated, “Our commitment resonates with India’s aspiration to become a global EV hub, and we are eager to play a pivotal role in making that a reality.”
Under the A2B brand, Hero Electric plans to introduce a diverse range of premium electric bikes, scooters, and other variants. The company envisions products that blend contemporary aesthetics with high-performance capabilities, designed to withstand Indian road conditions and climate. A2B products will feature advanced technology, robust battery systems, integrated powertrains, and aesthetics tailored for the premium segment.
Naveen Munjal, the Managing Director of Hero Electric, explained that this strategic diversification allows the company to maintain its focus on its core market with the Hero Electric brand while simultaneously entering new segments in response to increasing competition.
