Everrati unveils driver-focused electric Porsche inspired by type 964 RSR

The Type 964 RSR, launched in 1993, remains one of the rarest variants of the 964 series, with only 51 race-ready lightweight examples ever produced.

Everrati Automotive Limited, renowned for redefining classic vehicles with cutting-edge electric powertrains, has revealed its latest project – an electrified Porsche inspired by the legendary Type 964 RSR. The Type 964 RSR, launched in 1993, remains one of the rarest variants of the 964 series, with only 51 race-ready lightweight examples ever produced. Everrati pays homage to this motorsport icon, blending heritage with sustainability.

Modern transformation: combining classic design with EV innovation

Built upon an expertly restored 911 (964), the Everrati model follows the ethos of the RSR 3.8, focusing on lightweight, high-performance elements. The rear seats are deleted, replaced by a rear roll cage, and lightweight driver and passenger seats wrapped in low-carbon leather. The exterior showcases carbon-fibre bodywork, including an aero package with a larger rear spoiler reminiscent of the legendary 964 RSR.

Cutting-edge EV powertrain

Under the hood, Everrati integrates an OEM-grade 63kWh battery pack and an advanced battery management system, a Gen2 version boasting improved cooling and refined drive controller and software. The electric motors deliver formidable power to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential. The result is an emission-free range exceeding 200 miles and a rapid 3.7-second 0-60mph acceleration.

Enhanced driving dynamics: suspension and performance

The RSR homage features TracTive suspension, an electronically controlled system offering multiple settings to optimize driving dynamics, comfort, and performance. Combined with Apple CarPlay, AC, and DC Fast charging capabilities, the model is well-equipped for both short bursts on B-roads and extended touring journeys.

International production and commitment to sustainability

Everrati’s commitment to global sustainability is evident in its production strategy. The new RSR-inspired model, like other 964-based variants, will be produced for an international market by Everrati’s production partners, Aria Group, based in Irvine, California. The company’s approach involves collaborating with top specialists worldwide to ensure the highest standards in redefining classic cars.

Founder’s vision: advancing sustainability in luxury mobility

Everrati Founder and CEO, Justin Lunny, emphasises the driver-focused nature of the new RSR model. He underscores the company’s dedication to preserving iconic vehicles’ legacy while advancing the transition to sustainable luxury mobility. The blend of classic design and modern, zero-emission performance is a hallmark of Everrati’s approach to redefining automotive icons.

Expanding portfolio: Everrati’s diverse range

The new RSR-inspired model joins Everrati’s growing portfolio of redefined classics, including electric versions of the Porsche 911 (964) Coupe, Targa, Cabriolet, G-Series based ST-inspired edition, Range Rover Classic, Land Rover Defender, Land Rover Series, GT40, and Mercedes-Benz W113 SL ‘Pagoda’. Each model reflects Everrati’s commitment to combining heritage with the latest EV innovations, catering to a diverse range of automotive enthusiasts.
