Citroen has launched the e-C3 electric hatchback in Europe. While it is based on the same platform as the India-spec e-C3, it comes packed with a larger battery pack and more range.
New Design Language, Citroen Logo
The new e-C3 boasts of the latest design language, which will later boil down to the rest of the Citroen line-up. It features an all-LED lighting setup that takes inspiration from the Oli concept. Other design highlights include the new Citroen twin-chevron logo, a thin air dam under the faux grille, side body cladding and machine-cut alloy wheels.
Bigger Battery Pack, More Power And Range
As we stated earlier, the Euro-spec Citroen e-C3 comes with a larger 44kWh battery pack over the India-spec e-C3 which offers a 29.2kWh battery pack. The battery channels power to a front-mounted electric motor that puts out 113PS of power. It also offers a claimed range of 320km on a single charger. Post which, users can juice up the battery from 20 to 80 per cent in 26 minutes via a 100kW DC fast charger.
Connected Tech And Features
The Citroen e-C3 also offers an e-ROUTES app that is essentially a connected service subscription. Users can use the application to check the charging status, battery level, location and even pre-cool or pre-heat the battery depending upon the usage and climate. Speaking of features, the e-C3 comes with features like a head-up display, digital instrument cluster, comfort seats and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Citroen has launched the e-c3 in the European markets at EUR 23,300, which translates to around 20.47 lakh. Citroen will soon introduce a more affordable variant offering 200km of range at EUR 19,990.
