Chinese electric vehicle (EV) battery giant CATL has made headlines at the Beijing Auto Show by revealing a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, named Shenxing Plus, boasting a driving range of over 1,000 kilometres on a single charge. Chief Technology Officer Gao Huan of CATL’s e-car division unveiled the Shenxing Plus during the first media day of the Beijing auto show.
