Bridgestone India, a division of the global tyre and sustainable mobility solutions leader Bridgestone Corporation, has announced the appointment of Hiroshi Yoshizane as its new managing director. He will succeed Stefano Sanchini, who is set to assume the role of VP Consumer Replacement for Europe. This move reflects Bridgestone’s strategic approach to leverage synergies across geographies with similar consumer sentiments, aiming to further develop these key markets.
Hiroshi Yoshizane expressed his anticipation for the new role, recognising India’s significance as a strategic and growing market for Bridgestone. With India’s automotive sector poised for significant advancements in both volume and technology, Yoshizane emphasised the importance of collaboration with partners and the Bridgestone team to effectively serve customers, vehicle manufacturers, and communities.
